1. Cancercare (Bangalore) is a non-profit that promotes cancer awareness and provides care and support to those afflicted by it. They are on the lookout for 15 volunteers to visit a hospital and spend time with the children. Assistance is also required for a collection drive for toys and drawing books and to spread awareness about Cancer. 3. Sparrows, a Pune-based non-profit, works with street children for their rehabilitation and integration into the mainstream. They offer night shelter, vocational training and counseling for the children. They require volunteers to work as non-formal educators, organise and manage fun activities and educational trips, visit children in observation homes and locate opportunities for vocational training of the children.
