conversion of PIO Card into OCI Card
As per Government of India's instructions, PIO scheme has been withdrawn with effect from 09.01.2015.
All PIO cardholders who desire to apply for OCI card in lieu of their PIO Card can fill online at: https://passport.gov.in/oci/.
Procedure:
Please bring in person a print out of your duly filled application form, with two photographs and requisite documents as prescribed online.
Applicant has to pay an amount of SEK.222/- towards conversion of PIO Card to OCI.The amount is inclusive of SEK.15/- towards ICWF.
